Coromandel Poll produces an easy care and productive fine/medium poll merino with long stapled, bright white wool with well aligned fibres and nourishment suitable to a wide range of environmental conditions.

The well structured Coromandel Poll carcass is essential for early turn off of young animals for premium export and local markets. The stud produces a well muscled animal of good fertility with a valuable fleece, which fits mixed farming operations.

The use of objective mesurement since the mid 1970s has furthered genetic gain. Coromandel Poll employes the mothering of the top ewes, identifying the top producers, and using embryo transfer to further increase genetic gain.
