Stud Info

Claypans stud was formed in 1983 aiming to produce large framed, well nourished medium woolled sheep. These quick maturing fertile sheep are breed in 300mm rainfall country in the WA wheatbelt to suit local conditions. Rams are sold annually at our on-property sale offering 130 mainly poll rams. Claypans is based on the well known Victorian stud Glendonald which produce heaving cutting large frame sheep. Claypans actively attends all major shows in WA and also attends Bendigo show in Victoria with great success. Claypans sheep can also be viewed at WA Merino Week at the Wickepin shed display.
